The IVCC Mens Golf team extended their lead in the Arrowhead Conference race, winning Conference Tournament #2 hosted Friday by Kishwaukee CC in Rochelle.  The Eagles fire a team 306, good enough for a 5 shot victory over the Runner Up Black Hawk Braves.  Individually, Ben Cyr capped a phenomenal week shooting an even par 72  to finish in 2nd Place.  Coach Kennedy said, " The Eagles got the job done.  Our 3rd event of a busy week and a course we have never played before.  A couple of anxious moments down the stretch, but Ben and Colton finished strong to get us in the clubhouse with another Arrowhead Conference victory. "  The Eagle Men return to action next week with Round 3 in the Arrowhead Conference chase @ Carl Sandburg in Galesburg.
