The IVCC Mens Golf team continued their strong early Spring play by winning the Arrowhead Conference opener hosted by Sauk Valley @ Deer Grove Golf Club. The Eagles recorded a 309 team score, good enough for a 3 shot victory over 2nd Place Carl Sandburg. Individually, Clay Wells fired a 3 over par 75 to finish in a tie for 2nd place, 1 shot back of Black Hawk Medalist Peyton Perez's 74. Coach Kennedy said, " Winning the Arrowhead Conference Championship has been on our minds since the start of Spring practice. The Eagles are looking forward to next Friday's 2nd conference tournament @ Kishwaukee where we hope to duplicate Tuesday's success."
